Material Type: Pure PTFE - No Lubricant
Construction: Braided from pure PTFE yarns without any lubrication
Application: Designed for valves and lower shaft speed applications under medial pressure in food processing, pharmaceuticals, paper mills, fibre plants where high purity and corrosion resistance is required.
Colour: Brilliant White

Technical Data

Material Type: Acrylic Yarn with PTFE and Oil Lubricant
Construction: Braided from acrylic yarn impregnated with PTFE and Lubricated with Oil
Application: Excellent multi-service packing for a wide variety of uses. Used in pumps and valves and can handle most chemicals with the exception of strong acids, alkalies and oxidisers.

ePTFE Tape


ePTFE is a 100% expanded PTFE Fluorocarbon material. Conforming to irregular shapes and surfaces with an adhesive backing. It’s a strong and tough material capable of withstanding high and low temperatures as well as being resistant to a large range of chemicals. It is a contaminant-free, easy to apply, low-cost solution that minimises downtime.

Construction: Mono-axially expanded PTFE Sealant.
Application: Suited for sealing flange connections, pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, etc. In addition, it’s also ideal for use in glass, enamel and plastic flanges, vessels and special shaped sealing surfaces.

Material Type: Exfoliated graphite
Construction: Braided from low-sulphur expanded graphite yarns, reinforced with glass fibre. Inherent low coefficient of friction with no damage to shafts or stems. Great thermal and chemical resistance with high elasticity.
Application: A multi-service packing capable of a wide variety of usages. Suitable for valves, pumps, expansion joints, mixers and agitators in high-pressure, high-temperature hostile environments of hydrocarbon processing, pulp and paper, power stations and refineries. Not suitable for oxidising environments.

Material Type: Carbonated Graphite
Construction: Braided from strong carbon continuous yarns after softening, impregnated with proprietary lubricants and graphite particles, which act as a break-in lubricant.
Application: A hard-wearing packing capable of a wide variety of usages. Suitable for valves, pumps, expansion joints, mixers and agitators in high-pressure, high-temperature hostile environments of hydrocarbon processing, pulp and paper, power stations and refineries. Not suitable for oxidising environments.

Material Type: Graphite Encapsulated PTFE
Construction: Braided from graphited PTFE (gPTFE) yarn.
Application: A mixture of PTFE and Graphite with all the inherent properties of PTFE without the inherent cold flow. Suitable for abrasive chemicals where contamination needs to be eliminated. Contains no free particles. A soft gland packing with low density, with excellent thermal conductivity and high tensile strength. Economical CGFO.
