ePTFE is a 100% expanded PTFE Fluorocarbon material. Conforming to irregular shapes and surfaces with an adhesive backing. It’s a strong and tough material capable of withstanding high and low temperatures as well as being resistant to a large range of chemicals. It is a contaminant-free, easy to apply, low-cost solution that minimises downtime.

Material Type: | Exfoliated graphite |
Construction: | Braided from low-sulphur expanded graphite yarns, reinforced with glass fibre. Inherent low coefficient of friction with no damage to shafts or stems. Great thermal and chemical resistance with high elasticity. |
Application: | A multi-service packing capable of a wide variety of usages. Suitable for valves, pumps, expansion joints, mixers and agitators in high-pressure, high-temperature hostile environments of hydrocarbon processing, pulp and paper, power stations and refineries. Not suitable for oxidising environments. |

Application: | A mixture of PTFE and Graphite with all the inherent properties of PTFE without the inherent cold flow. Suitable for abrasive chemicals where contamination needs to be eliminated. Contains no free particles. A soft gland packing with low density, with excellent thermal conductivity and high tensile strength. Economical CGFO. |
