LARNER JOHNSON Larner – Johnson valves have been the world leaders in bulk water reticulation systems for over a century. They are the valve of choice for water companies all over Southern Africa and the world.

Enserve is the sole distributor of the entire Larner – Johnson range of products in South Africa. All repairs will be carried out by our trained technical team in Sasolburg making use of OEM spares.

Enserve employs over 150 employees in seven centres. With a turnover of $6 million per annum, the company is the largest privately owned pump and valve company in Southern Africa.
Enserve was founded by Steve Bannister and Pieter van Schalkwyk in South Africa in 1993.
Enserve began trading from 28 Edison Boulevard in Vanderbijlpark.
Initially the company focused on manual valve reconditioning. In 1999 Enserve opened an office in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, to enhance turnaround times to customers in the province. In the same year, Enserve acquired Sasol’s valve repair centre, situated on the Polymers site in Sasolburg, South Africa. This gave Enserve the equipment, resources and expertise to recondition manual, control and safety valves.
Enserve opens their first repair centre in, Vanderbijlpark, South Africa. Services offered included pump, valve and gearbox repair.
Enserve is awarded its first contract to refurbish manual valves for the Natref refinery (National Petroleum Refiners of SA) in Sasolburg, South Africa.
